GIRLS DAY OUT: Hanging Out with Visiting Teachers Monday, July 16, 2012
What a beautiful day it is, and I feel so fortunate to be alive and sharing this trip with my VT. Finally I get a chance to go to the Mountains! We’re headed to the Olympic Mountains and the view of the landscape is BREATH-TAKING! This is truly GOD’S country. As we continue the drive, I can feel the subtle climate and altitude change.
I’m so grateful that to have Gena and Patricia are my Visiting Teachers. They’re such a tremendous BLESSING! In addition to them , Jackie has joined us with her wise and intriguing stories of her past. Good company, and She’s like a Mother to me. Each of these Ladies have impacted my life so much!
I must acknowledge how wonderful Heavenly Father is, by allowing these Angels to be a major part of my life. As we continue on this winding road upward, I would glance and become mesmerized by the beauty and GRANDEUR of the Snow-capped- mountains overlooking the pines and firs that reach toward the heavens. Since I’ve been in this Glorious part of the world, I just knew that someday I would visit and be among these amazing ‘statures’ of Nature.
Words cannot describe the way that I felt as we grew closer to Hurricane Ridge. A land of pure virtue as nothing is accessible to the public, because if anything were removed it would ‘off set’ the ecological balance. Nothing could be out of place or tampered with. Even the creatures of the forest roam and did not fear, us.
GUARDIANS OF TERRA FIRMA
They are the noble kings of grandeur overseeing the children of the forest, protecting and supplying the necessary elements that they need. Every seed was carefully placed in the sod that will allow them to flourish and nourish the woodlands as they mature and manifests into the nurturers of the land. The silent warriors never speak as they are the Sentinels that abide by the laws of nature.
I’ve waited a long time to see just this mere fraction of a beauty simply made by God. There’s Land, Ocean, and Outer Space, these masses are the Titans that govern and allow growth and production. So as the sod yields, also does Man yield and Woman bear fruit that continues the cycle of life.
Although somewhat brief was this visit, the journey was infinite as every moment I will treasure for the rest of my life.
